Fitness has been a part of my entire life. Throughout childhood, I played baseball in high school and pretty much all other sports recreationally. Today I am an avid Disc Golfer, beach volleyball player, and fitness enthusiast.
At one point in my life, I was a 255lb sedentary smoker. I happened to be eating a healthy meal at our local Sonic and kept hearing whistles blowing. Finally, I found where they were coming from, and it was our local beach volleyball facility, CaptnBills. I wanted to play but didn't know how to get it. Fast forward one year and my work were putting together a team for beach volleyball and asked if I would like to join. I did. I quickly realized that I could not keep the same lifestyle I had and become a better player. I quickly quit smoking, started eating better and hit the gym. Over 10 months, I lost 50lbs and thus kick-started myself back into a healthier lifestyle. Many hobbies have spawned from leading a healthier lifestyle such as mountain biking, running, disc golf, volleyball, and of course Crossfit!
My purpose in coaching is to pass on the knowledge I have gained over the last decade of Crossfit, Olympic Lifting, and strength movements in general. I want to make you the most efficient and safe athlete you can be while reaching YOUR goals.
